    Default Dresden plate ruler tutorial

I found this blog that shows the dresden plate ruler I recently purchased. She shows you how easy it is and what professional results that you can achieve. I love the black and white fabric she used. So cute!

Inspired? OMG I got the ruler along with the new Kansas Troubles Butterfly Garden and I'm trying to stop myself from buying every pre-cut they have!! (If you read my blog you'll understand) I can't, must not, shouldn't, buy any more fabric!!! Anyway - back to the subject - I've cut 7 1/2" blades, 5" blades and 2 1/2" blades all out of the same layer cake and will be trying to put them all on the same quilt.

I'm learning that Dresden plate really isn't that hard!! You just take one step at a time and pretty soon you have these wonderful blocks. Can you tell - I'm impressed with these. My progress is going to be a bit slow going as I really want to make the most of this combination and work carefully.
