    Default Hello fellow quilters

Hello I am new here also,I live in Canada Ontario, grandparent of 6, with 1 great granson of a year old.I am british born,I was taught to sew by my mother, as a child i would watch her sewing on an old treadle machine.
I have dabbled in quilting for several years now, once again bitten by the quilt bug lol, stumbling across this website is so thrilling for me.Theres a local shop close by where i live a month ago i took a class on making an asymetrical bargello jacket! I was amazed how attractive this pattern is.
I have dressmaking software also,& love making clothes for myself that FIT me for a change, rather than shop bought.
