Default Polka Dot Swap Quilt Top Basted

Here's the top of my Polka Dot Swap Quilt. I'm trying to see how quickly I can take it from blocks in the mail to a quilt on my bed. So far it's taken me a week to get this far. The backing fabric wasn't big enough to fit the top so I added two blocks from the swap to make it the right size. I'm going to use SITD for most of it with a little FMQing in the block centers. Wish me luck quilting such a big quilt. It measures more than 7 ft square!

That looks nice. It's kinda scary to think how big the quilt would be had you used all 30 blocks on the front. I only have a queen bed, I can probably make a quilt for it with enough left for a good size lap quilt too.
