    Default What's your occupation?

I'm just curious what everyone does for a living. I'm a RN on a cardiac floor, and love my job. I get to meet alot of really sweet patients (and unfortunately some not so sweet...lol ). In May '11 I graduated from nursing school, so I can honestly say that I learn something new everyday.

    I'm a hairdresser since 1978!

I have my own salon 3 days a week, 1 day a week I have a barbershop in prison.
Only men in prison and in my salon most women.
I can say that I love my job, but if I had a choise I would be sewing all day.........

I'm the controller of a manufacturing company and most days I love my job - on the other days I wish I would've just stayed in bed.

I worked as a medical assistant for 18 years and baked as a side hobby when I retired 14 years ago I turned the hobby into a second career and own my own business doing custom cakes and I also teach confectionary arts.

I am a full time Grandma! I LOVE my job!
I haven't had a job outside my home in 21 years, I have always taken care of the kids, did a LOT of volunteering, then made dance costumes in trade for dance competition fees. Now I watch my grandson.

I'm an educational diagnostician for a Board of Education. I test kids in grades P-12 for special needs and conduct meetings to place them in the program. I received my doctorate in 2011 and plan to start teaching college courses as well. However, I would love to be a full time quilter!

I had lots of different jobs over the years. I was never the career type. My last job before starting a family was Secretary to the Director of a large performing arts center (Annenberg Center) at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. My interests always leaned toward the arts. I have a degree in theatre and performed in amateur theatrical productions in New York City, Lancaster, PA, Longwood Gardens, also in PA, and Philadelphia. Before moving to London I had a small sewing business that kept me very busy!!!
Goodbye Europe! Hello California! Home sweet home.
