I love last week's tutorial "Mountain Lily" Quilt!

I loved the tutorial "Mountain Lily Quilt" from last weeks tutorial!!

I found a gorgeous line of fabric here at MSQC that I am considering using to make this quilt. I have finally decided to change the color of my master bedroom and plan to have it painted in April/May. The Jelly Roll I am going to use is :

I'm trying to decide what I will choose for the "green" that Jenny used for the tutorial quilt. Not sure what I'll use just yet. (If anyone has any suggestions....let me know!)

    I love violets.

That pattern will be beautiful with those fabrics. What about a little bit darker purple to replace the green.

Nothing enhances violets and mauves and purples like a vibrant lime to give it that pop. Looking forward to seeing your quilt.

So, far I like both of your suggestions for colors minipinlady & Wendy!

I am getting excited because I am going to order the Jelly Rolls (I am going to order two so I can make the some Pillow Shams for the quilt too.)

Jacqueline, I really love that fabric and the sweet colors. I have often used similar fabric lines with those same colors. I love the pattern but not a fan of the bright green that Jenny used (although I have many brightly colored quilts).

I like the soft green in your collection; also the two other greens (light & dark) in the floral fabric. The 3rd picture is a quilt I'm currently working on. It's a different fabric line, but similar colors. You can see that the greens are more subtle in tone and make it a more relaxing pallet of colors for me. Well, that's just me! I'm sure you'll find the right color and when you do, it will click. Anxious to see your creation!

I love those colours, but I would go with a deep purple. I like the green too, but not w fan of the kelly green used in the tutorial.

I like the light green fabric you posted too. I will consider it. Thanks!
