    Re: Storage Inspiration

Quilters need a lot of storage. We all look for great
storage for our sewing rooms. Organization is the
key. A place for everything and everything in
it’s place. I want to spend my time wisely
when I’m in my sewing room. I do not want
    to spend my time searching.
This example for most quilters is a little
over the top in my opinion.
For me smaller organization shelves, baskets
in related areas work best for me. My machine
embroidery supplies are next to my emb. machine.
My baskets of fabric are in a closet next to my
cutting table, etc. To make the best organization
work in a sewing room. Think in terms of
specific areas as you move from one step to
    the next during the process.
I don’t believe I would have room for
such a large piece in my sewing room.
    Happy Quilting to everyone !

Those cabinets are very nice. I bet they are really expensive.

That sure is storage on steroids, but you'd need a lot of empty space to open it up all the way, I am on a mission to use up some of my scraps to free up some space in my bins. Sewed quite a bit yesterday to end up with only 7 6.5 inch blocks. Progress is progress. I like Bernina2's take on the topic.

Beautiful piece of furniture. I think this would worth considering if I ever had to downsize. That's not likely going to happen anytime soon. It's probably pretty expensive, but it' looks well done.

            Hi
we saw these on a craft channel last year and again yesterday, costing in the region of many spaces before decimal point , did not really take notice of the price other than that £0000.00.
I would call it a very, very, very, very considered purchase just on where the decimal point is, but it sparked some other ideas of what worked and did not for me, hence why posted. Used that title.
All the boxes on view while crafting, would not help my creativity.
Perhaps knowing what do not want helps too.
            Thanks for looking
            enjoy your evening

Wow that is an incredible storage system but seems much more suitable for scrapbooking than sewing. I finally was able to locate the "base price" of $2,199 (yikes) but idk if that includes the plastic storage totes, vinyl storage pockets, or built in lighting. Oh well it was kind of fun to look at even tho way outside my budget!

That's some serious crafting! I agree that it looks more scrapbooky than quilting.

Haha Suzanne your comment made me laugh, I was thinking the opposite, I wouldn't be able to fill that whole thing up. I guess you have more stuff than I do!

It looks like a old fashioned [like 15 years ago] TV armoire. I have seen several nice ones at the thrift store, a talented carpenter and lot of shelves could be added plus a pull out table. They do take up a lot of space though.
