Since this is a good supportive group, I am asking for your prayers for a special friend of mine. On Sunday, he got ready to cook breakfast and his gas stove malfunctioned. There was a catastrophic gas explosion, blowing out the walls and roof of his home, and burning him on his head, torso and arms. He was able to crawl to the front door and get out, and his neighbors heard him yelling for help after they heard the explosion. Several of the neighbors came running, one turned off the gas and put out some small fires with a fire extinguisher. Anyway, he is in the burn unit in a local hospital and is in pretty rough shape right now. So some prayers would be appreciated as he heals. He made need some skin grafts and I’m not sure how long he will be hospitalized, but it will be a while. TYIA.
