Mine is a peanut butter tan which is the color of all the bedrooms in our house. I have gotten used to it and don't mind it at all. One day I will probably paint it but the thought of moving everything appalls me right now. I would love to replace the carpet with a hard surface floor but that, too, will have to wait a long time.

Mine is bright orange and green, from when I let my 10 yr old daughter pick the colors of her bedroom. It is truly terrible, but allows me to make my own mess. Ha

My sewing room is a pale yellow with brighter yellow accents. The yellow makes me happy!

Toni ... If I keep sewing long enough, will they make their own dinner?

Who me? 😊 the cabinet is South Shore Crea Craft table with wheels and the cutting table is Sullivan's Quilters table. I got them both from Amazon for around $500. (Amazing how fast the booze and smokes money added up, so I splurged!)

If at first you don't succeed, try doing it the way your mom told you to in the first place

In my sewing room three walls are orange and 1 is blue. My happy colors. I know you should white are neutral to help with seeing quilt colors or some such.. Not for me. If I'm going to be sitting in the room for hours, I'm going to be bright and happy. I'm also aware people think my colors clash. Don't care. Happy place.

We allowed our only daughter (we have 4 kids, and my DD is our second child) pick the color of her room.....she chose "Pepto Bismol"
Pink....ugh...that was such a dark pink in the room and her room was the smallest in the house. I think back on that and laugh!
We also let our 2nd son paint his own room......He took blood red paint....and painted the ceiling in the room.....and on all four sides of the room, he took the red paint 3"inches down from the ceiling all around the room...and made it to look as though the blood was dripping down the wall LOL!
He and his BFF spend a part of almost 3 yrs drawing some awesome art all over the white wall in the room......It was amazing. I wish I had taken more photos of that room....he & his friend did a great job with all the drawing/painting they did. The only thing we told him he had to agree to do was when he got ready to move out prior to college he had to REPAINT the room. We paid for 1/2 the cost of the primer and paint though.
Our son has great memories of that time in his life.

    Lorie,
My DH Terry once painted our small bedroom in the other house we had a pale mint green. I love it. That room gave you the impression that it was "cold" …..it was really a nice shade of green, but we used to laugh about the fact the room color on the walls made us feel "cold"...LOL! (That was prior to putting A/C in the house. I now sometimes regret selling that small little Cape Cod house!!! We had ONE more payment to go when we sold that house and signed on to another 30 yrs mortgage, which I paid off after my DH Terry's death. I'd like to move once again, but I don't like moving for starters and 2nd, I can't imagine how I would be after packing up this house.
When we had the first house, we used to go through the house every six months and if something wasn't used or worn a lot, we give it away or have a garage sale.....When Terry passed away, I stopped going through the house every 6 months....and WOW do I have a lot of stuff to get rid of!!!
