    Default pattern suggestions please

Lately I have made some pretty detailed and involved projects and feel I need a break. I have a couple of layer cakes that are not exactly my favorite-Birthday Bash cake walk winnings-they are mostly brights with a few white on white squares. So, my question is what is your favorite layer cake pattern? I know these would make a cute girls quilt but just not sure what I want to do with it.
One yard of fabric, like one cookie, is never enough!

One that I like to do is the disappearing hourglass. There is also the disappearing pinwheel. Both of these have tutorials from MSQC. Depending upon how much time you want to do with the blocks, you could just sew them together, I have done a falling charm with the layer cake. Depending upon the color combos, you could do an around the world quilt.

The one that Barb just posted Teacup quilt would be cute in those fabrics. It takes one layer cake plus some border yardage.
