I am learning to make totes.
It doesn't involve quilting but hey it is done and functional.

It is fully lined so has a nice finished look inside and out.

It is a new skill for me.

That turned out very nice!!! I have made lots of totes, hundreds of them. A good tote pattern that does involved quilting, as much or little as you like, is BOW TUCKS. It comes in two sizes, and I suggest the larger. The pattern is by Penny Sturgis.

Love the fabrics too. Very nice contrast. As a tote/bag maker I just want to say---You can Never have enough bags. At Christmas I even made some bags instead of wrapping paper for my gifts. Great Grands were so excited because I used Paw Patrol fabric and Nightmare before Christmas for my granddaughter (21 yrs) So, if you end up bitten by the "bag bug" you can get creative and make some to be used as wrapping paper.
