What is the name of this pattern? Are the sailboats appliqued on? It's a really cute quilt. I like it.

Joy, the pattern was called Baby Sails and it was from Thankfully Sew which is sadly out of business. The boats are appliqué and I used my preferred method with fusible and machine stitched the edges. Jenny did a tutorial called How to Appliqué where she featured this pattern. You could figure out the piecing using her directions but would have to come up with your own design for the boats. You could use any design really. I think Jenny suggested a coloring book for different designs. Big flowers would be so cute for a girl.

I love this darling little quilt. You did a beautiful job. I remember this tutorial of Jenny's! I was looking for it a few months ago and could not find it so I figured I'd wing it, but have not had a chance to yet. You did a great job. Put me down as another one who loves the giant rick rack waves.
