    Default .....finally finished!

I started this bag this past summer because my friend wanted to make one. She asked me to do one with her since she had just recently returned to sewing and had never made any type of bag before.

I believe the pattern is called Dancing Diamonds, although I have a different name for it. That said, I doubt I'll ever be making another. It got pushed to the side because she wanted to get some things done for Christmas for her grandkids, but I'm glad it's done!!

Despite what you may have renamed it, it looks good!

I, too, am finishing a bag pattern that got shoved into a project box and left for dead. It claims to be a 2 hour pattern (with sub text saying the larger size may take a bit longer.) I timed it. 1:44.35 just to cut all the pieces and adhere all of the fusible interfacing. (I even cheated there and had some of the fabric laid out to see how many pieces I could cut at once.) I tapped out the stopwatch at 6:20.22. I still have the button for the closure to attach, but close enough.

Bless it. Release it, and be glad it's not on your list for 2020 anymore!

What is the name of the pattern you are working on? I can't wait to see it!

I do like the colors, and the finished project looks very nice and professional. Of course, all of your bags do.

Your bag turned out great. It's done. It's usable. It's not a UFO. Yeah!
