Default Looking for a solid fabric with a little texture

    Hi all,
I have about forty hexagon flowers that are patiently waiting for the perfect background fabric. I'd like something that isn't a flat solid - something with a little texture. At Missouri Star, I found Cotton Supreme Solids with a wide range of colors. It looks like the fabric may have a little texture (colorwise not actual texture as in the hand or feel of the fabric). Has anyone seen or used this fabric? Any other suggestions? I am not a fan of Grunge.
I have to add that it's really hard to shop for this type of project on the internet.
    Thank you!

I have six different Cotton Supreme Solids. None of them have any texture to them. They do make textured looking prints. Try looking in the "blenders" section. It has some very nice sorting capabilities (by color, by style)

Here is a nice printed texture called linen. This one does not actually have any linen in it. https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...bisque-yardage

Darn - Grunge is my go to for a bit of texture. There was some fabric a couple years ago, a Kaufman I believe. It was cotton but had the texture of linen. It was very nice. I have some but I don't think it has info on the selvage. I will check though.

Have you considered Toscana? I also like many of the Grunge fabrics.

The grunge dots make great background because they are color on color, so very subtle for polka dot material. But I know you said you don't like grunge, just thought you might want to take a second look. Batiks and marbles have some texture.

This is what I was looking for earlier. It is Kaufman Quilter's Linen, all cotton and has a nice texture and available in many colors.

Thank you all! I will look at your suggestions. Might have to put this one on the back burner for a little while longer until I find the 'perfect' background...
