Default Need to pick your brains...

    I am somewhat bogged down...

On the snowman quilt... Should they have yarn mittens and scarf ? and maybee yarn snow as the ground ?
Or should I remove the yarn ?
I am not planning on quilting the snowman body, maybee a line or two to emphasize the roundness of the body's.

    What do you think ?

On the gingerbread man.. I really like the sparkly santa hat. Not so sure about the lines with stars.
I tried out the designs ideas with water erasable pen so if I change my mind. it is easier to remove the pen then ripping out stitches.

I drew a grid as ground. SHould it go a bit higher up. say up to waist height on the gingerbread man ?
I am thinking on filling it in with straight lines every other square. not decided yet.

    What you think ?

And there is some more progress made on the xmas quilt along piece.

Not sure I like the upper left corners. other wise I love it.

    What you think ?

Oh... that xmas ham I am cooking up is driving me crazy with delicious smell!!

    Have a good night/day

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I think it's adorable Annika. Is the upper left corner with the gingerbread man a window? If so maybe quilt a couple of horzontal and vertical lines for the sill and sides?

Annika I like the blue mittens gives color to the dolls and respect to the gingerbread man so many stars take center stage, maybe some scattered star, the squared ground looks like the shirt, but as you say some straight lines it will be something different. Wel that is my vision of his precious work and when it is finished it will be another of his great works. I hope your ham is delicious and that your work is to your liking
