Default Microwave cozy / Q on using one

I have a cozy someone gifted me, bought at a craft fair and idk if it has insulbrite in it. I do use it in the micr but not that often and have never had a problem. I just want to know if they are safe to use in a regular oven? I often heat up dinner rolls in the oven, it would be perfect for that, but will it catch on fire? I don't want to find out the hard way!

I wouldn't consider putting it in an oven. The microwave cooks without a hot heat source so the air inside the cooking chamber stays relatively cool. The regular oven, on the other hand, cooks at high temperatures.

In my opinion, using it in an oven would equate to leaving a hot iron on any fabric ... scorching and eventually a fire. HTH

No to the oven. If you have used it in the microwave with no issue it does NOT have insulbright in it, as that would cause problems. 100% cotton in the microwave only.

I would not use it in the oven either.

If it had insulbrite in it, it would crinkle when you wad it up in your hands.

I cannot find my photos of some hot roll covers for putting them in a basket on the table but they were somewhat shaped like this, just not fancy at all. oh never mind, longest link i ever saw.
anyway, i made some squares and cut out small half circles in the four sides. sewed and flipped right side out. then lay that over basket or bowl with hot rolls inside and flip corners down to keep warm. just an idea. like a small quilt.
    sort of like these
