Default My Santa wall hanging and tree

Since my back is feeling much better I decided it's time to start getting the house ready for the holidays. Here is a picture of my Santa wall hanging, close-up is before I did the binding. I got the tree up in the sunroom today except for an angel, 2 ballerinas, and a butterfly that Barb made for me ( which I love) are all made by me on my embroidery machine except for the poinsettias.

I'm not putting the big tree up this year as the living room furniture has to be rearranged for it to fit and I'm not up to that task.

The trees are so beautiful. I've got to get started... but honestly, I just don't feel like doing any of it.

My room is the Christmas bounty room, though.

I haven't put up our tree either. It's only a matter of dusting the coffee table, exchanging the table runner, & setting up the already decorated table tree. Takes only a few min. I did make a start on my annual Christmas letter today. It's mostly done except for concluding remarks.

For years my grandchildren have put up my tree on Thanksgiving. Tradition is that after dinner the tree is decorated. If they would not do it I would not put up a tree. I made a tree wall hanging to use but due to popular demand I get a tree. Win win!!!

    I love the trees!

Cathy, I would love to see your sunroom. I always wished that I had one.

Will try to take a picture of it for you. It's the best thing we did to the house we live in that room all year long. It is never closed up, we have a gas fireplace in there. We opted for a regular roof as opposed to the glass one as it's on the north side of the house and didn't think it would retain the heat for year round use.
