    Default November finished quilts

I am really working at reducing the number of tops I have that require quilting. Since these are both large -queen size, I rented a long arm to finish them. I used pantographs for both and they were done in the 2 days I rented with time to spare.

First one is M* Grand Adventure, also known as Misty Mountains. This one was made with batik layer cake.

Second one is reversible. Side one is astronaut and NASA badges. I will add a real NASA badge that DH picked up when he worked at NASA. Side 2 is hockey theme, with fabric of Montreal Canadians, my GS's favorite team.

That only leave 3 quilt tops to be quilted. These were made this summer & fall, and I will quilt after the holidays.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Good work and beautiful quilts, it is always nice to reduce UFOs in closets though a good quilter fills them right away, congratulations

    Very nice!
My great niece who is 12 yrs old wants to be an astronaut! I just finished making her a pillowcase and sent her a gift certificate to Jo-Ann Fabrics because she loves to sew for her B-day this next week!

You're making better progress than I am. Both quilts are great! I think I have 19 finished tops waiting to be quilted. With my carpal tunnel surgery in Jan., now problems with arthritis in my hands, & other projects over the summer, my quilting time has been limited.
