    Looks beautiful... I made this for 2 of my friends one Christmas... colors of each of their homes... they both Loved them.... Plus it's a fun pattern... Your right about the layout... it can be hard to decide! GB

    I think I have bindings down pat. It took about 30 minutes to sew it on, and just under 4hrs to handsew. I wind my folded binding tight on an empty spool of thread and put it on the second spool holder on my sewing machine. It doesn't get tangled as I sew. If it wants to roll off too fast (depends on the fabric). I unroll some and stick a pin in it. I also make my binding and keep it hung in a bag with the quilt top & back on a hanger until I'm ready to finish it, so I dont have to hunt for it b
