    Default Machine quilting

I am a hand quilter but it is a bit slow and my quilts are delayed a bit, and machine quilting still seems difficult and although I have made some cushion and tablecloth for my breakfast tray I still did not decide , but after reading the Forum tips to practice, Thaks JCY, I decided to start so since I had a lid made in the closet I have assembled and practiced, I still Have to do more but I think I learned a lot, the next one will be betterClick image for larger version.

It's looking very good for your first attempt. It gets easier, and i find it's better to have a finished quilt than a bunch of UFOs.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Looks good to me too. I admire your sentiments "next time will be better." Don't give up.

Hang in there. It does get easier with each one you do. I kept my very first quilt, so I can always look back at the progress i've made since I started my first quilt.

It takes a lot of practice to become proficient at almost anything. I think this looks fantastic for a first attempt!

Very nice work! One of our members, Swedish Leo, began on her journey to become an accomplished free motion quilter. She is amazing at her craft now after a lot of practice! She took non pieced fabric, made into a quilt sandwich, and mapped out on it what designs she wanted to practice. She used YouTube videos from Leah Day and Angela Walters to get ideas on what to practice. Check out her posts to see the quilts she has finished.
