Thank you for this. Can people please chime in to say what size/kind of kai scissors are their favorites? I've always wanted to try a pair but not sure what ones to get.
Thanks for the heads up. Have been wanting to get a pair of thread snips for awhile. Now to decide regular vs ergonomic. Same price and good reviews on both.
I have a pair of 5 1/2" (N5135) and the 6 1/2" (N5165) and use one or the other daily.
The small needle craft scissors are small but very sharp, right to the tip. I have one of each (N5100 & N5100c) Be sure to order the red scissor holder protectors (to store when not using.) I use these often for clipping curved seams and trimming threads. (RSH-NS)
Dressmaker scissors, but I don't remember which ones.
I bought a pair of the thread clippers a long time ago but I don't like them. They're a little clunky for me.
I have the 5.5 and 6.5, plus the true left handed 8" dressmaker pair. This is the first pair of left handed scissors I have ever found comfortable, and I would not be without them.
