My favorite Fabric Christmas Tree

I make these with fat quarters.. Christmas fabric. They generally stand approx. 10/12" tall. Also you can add another limb for 6 limb tree. Makes a great center piece for your table, mantle or shelf when space is a problem. And with my button collection I can decorate or leave plain. My doctor's office has one I made years ago.. And I bet a teacher would love one for her desk, too!

Thanks so much for posting this! I've had one of these for years and it's the most cheerful and perfect little tree. Mine is decorated with ribbons and jingle bells.

I made these in the 70's and loved how they turned out. Everyone on my gift list got one and they were thrilled. I made small stuffed strawberries out of red pindot fabric to decorate the branches and I did something fancy on the top. I made one for everyone but me, so maybe now we will get one! that is the only "tree" i have for Christmas anymore. My friend made me one many years ago and i've given several to others since then. Love making them!

This is really cute and would be great on the table, even a coffee table in the living room. I bet the hardest part is stuffing it so each section looks even.

stuffing wasn't too hard. just must leave opening in each section to stuff poly into. do all top stuffing first and go around lower as you stuff. gets too difficult if you stuff one completely and then go to next. just my opinion.
