NC beaches are the great! I miss going out to the outer banks.

Terry, love the sunset. Also loved your fall leaves photo. Want company on your deck? LOL.

Go it seems that your vacation has been very beautiful and you have had a good time. Your country is so big, really nine hours to get to the sea? that takes Spain to travel from north to south, I live in Plentzia in the north and in the south Cadiz - 624 miles so our trips are shorter in just three or four hours we are anywhere far away

The beach is so pretty and the water looks so inviting. I wish I was there. Esp since I am looking out the window at the 5 inches of snow we just got and current outdoor temp of 12 degrees. And I won't even mention the nasty NW wind that's howling.

Terry ~ wondering if you go fishing on the intercoastal side or ocean side? You should consider motoring over to Hammocks Beach State Park and pick up some dead Sand Dollars on the ocean side (if those last hurricanes hasn't broken them all up.) Make sure they are while - purple ones are still alive.
You should email me when you go next time ... I'm only 40 minutes away. PM me if you need my addy again.

Re: beaches, sunsets and boats
thanks Judy. We haven't taken the boat out yet. I'm opting for playing in the sound the first time. Hammocks beach sounds great. I collected sand dollars in New Zealand and they were live. I boiled them before I brought them home. Not collecting shells any longer as we have boxes from all of our trips, but never been to Hammocks beach so I'll look that up. Probably be spring before we come back to the coast now. If we are going to do this, I'm putting my vote in for adventuring to different places. DH is a real routine kind of guy and is comfortable going to the same place over and over. We'll see.
