This is what I’ve been working on during the past month, costumes for the show “ A Soldier’s Play” which opened Thursday. I bought the shirts, but made 3 military jackets. One of these seargent jackets is distressed (for when the Sarge is “juiced” and groveling in the gutter) and one is an authentic vintage military jacket. I also had a local embroiderer digitize the unit patch for me and I embroidered them myself. This show only has 12 actors in it, but some of them have three different outfits, so it ended up taking a lot more time (and MONEY) to find the pieces than I had anticipated!
But it’s finished so I can get back to making quilts and bags!
