Re: A Fantastic Craft Show
Awesome. What a great feeling to have a successful weekend. I am curious. What makes the bowl cozies so popular.

Re: A Fantastic Craft Show
Glad you had a successful weekend with M's help, of course.
Karen - I love the bowl cozies in the winter for heating my bowl of soup or morning oatmeal quickly in the microwave. And it prevents those cold fingers from holding a bowl of ice cream in the summer. They are great gifts (single, a pair or a 4-piece set) that are reasonably priced and not widely commercially available. I've been surprised how many don't know what they are and have never heard of them. Once they find out their usefulness they usually buy at least one - but usually more around the holidays for gifts.

Congratulations, I know it is a lot of work.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

Great news! So glad your weekend was successful. I made three or four dozen last year for Christmas. Everyone loves them. They're so useful. You had a very nice selection of cozies and a wonderful presentation table. Nice job!

WooHoo Marilyn!!! Glad your show went well. Your granddaughter is learning so much from helping you at the shows, and spending extra special time with her granny! I feel like one reason the bowl cozies sell so well is because it's an easy and fairly new gift to give teachers, hair dressers, neighbors, etc. I like to purchase plain white bowls from the Corelle Outlet to pair with a cozie for an added touch.

I have another show the first week end in Dec. at Oakville HS, if you would like to come visit. (Dec. 7 &8)
Blankets wrap you in warmth, quilts wrap you in love

Great job at your fair! I've been meaning to ask if there was a particular pattern you used?
