    Default Looking for a pattern

Have any of you seen a pattern for a border like this? I know how to make a solid curved border...but not a pieced one. This one is beautiful, I'd like to give it a try.
All I can find is the picture when I search online.

Try this method on you tube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWF66giFhMQ
You can watch the whole video or start at 6:14 for just the curved section. I hope this helps.

PLEASE DO NOT CUT THE WAY SHE SHOWS THE CURVES WITHOUT PROTECTION ON YOUR HAND (like a klutz glove). You could get seriously hurt!!

OMG! I had to watch the video just to see her cutting method. I wanted to reach thru the monitor and slap her hands. I'm not sure even Klutz Gloves would save a finger if they slipped on that method.

Try using a Wave Edge ruler.

Much safer and I found that it's easier to cut with the smallest blade that you have.

Thank you! This is perfect for making those pieced segments.

And WOW on how she cut!!! That's a cutting method I will never try!

yes, i have a couple of long rulers i use to mark scalloped borders. I usually do not make deep "in" curves so can regular cut bindings, not cut on bias. I measure my border length and then the scallops i want to see how many i can get and then start marking.

We had someone present a program at our guild and she had developed a curvacious ruler. I'll try to find the info and repost.

Look at these rulers and tutorials.

I have these and use them for curves or scallops.
