This was a Central Illinois Shop Hop Quilt Kit that I purchased in 2018. There are 9 shop blocks and I purchased the finishing kit from our local shop. I added a large border so it would fit a king size bed. This is my first log cabin and I learned very early accurate 1/4 seams are a must. The snowman block in the center of each log cabin block was supposed to be the same direction but I mixed them up so the quilt doesn't always have to be on the bed the same way. I like to snuggle a quilt around my neck so I like a quilt that can be rotated to prevent wearing as soon.

Now I'm off to finish my secret santa gifts then I have two more quilts to bind.

I love it! I like the different center blocks added which make it an interesting log cabin.

I love log cabins and yours is awesome. Did you use the log cabin trim tool from Creative Grids?

What a great job you did! I've made one log cabin quilt. I haven't seen that particular layout before. It's beautiful.
