Default Craft Fair is A-Comin'! (Pic Heavy)

I still have some more table runners to finish, but here are some things I've done for the upcoming Craft Fair. I've also made 15 infinity scarves with zipper pockets, and 6 shopping bags, since they are now taxing the plastic ones here:
The pillows were from a panel; I quilted around the animals and words with silver thread: Click image for larger version.

Beautiful things! I love those scarfs, but it's too hot to wear them here Plastic is banned here too. I just found out a bill is out for straws now. I just bought a set of reusable straws that came with a brush. Maybe make some pouches for those!

Very pretty. These should draw people into your booth. Best wishes for a successful sale.

    - I think about this, so much. People ask me all the time about selling the things I make (If I had a nickel for every time someone said, "You should start an Etsy shop!"...) and I just don't know how I'd price stuff to sell.

If you're wondering about pricing, there are several Google searches you can do. One rule of thumb is to charge 3x the cost of materials. You can also go to the Etsy website and search for similar items (quilted jackets, for example); then browse around to see what others are charging. I also like to go to craft fairs and check out what others are charging.

As it turns out, I'm going to be out of town at our upcoming fair, so I won't even know until afterwards what sold and how much $$ the items brought in. The fair is being put on by several of the churches in town, so some young ladies from our church volunteered to run our booth this year. Hooray! All I have to do is sew!!
