Making cat quilt, looking for fabric

Hi all, i want to make the cat quilt for a teenager (Pins and Paws Cat tutorial) Do you think the Feline Frolic fabric will look ok?

I wonder if i could use something other than white for the background fabric? Some very pale color?

Find out what her favorite color is and use a very light pastel in that color.

There are so many colors in that fabric that you have a lot to choose from.

Oh, I love that fabric! It's perfect for that. You might consider a metalkic accent for tge background too or maybe a shot cotton. I'm loving the grunge metallics right now, just got an order for onyx metallic and it is gorgeous (for a steampunk-ish theme windmill quilt-can't wait to make it!)

oh metallic is a great idea, too! I have used one of the grunge charm packs in a table runner.

I wonder if i could use something other than white for the background fabric? Some very pale color?

Jenny uses two different backgrounds in her quilt. Maybe use Black/dark gray for the lighter fabrics and a medium gray for the darker fabrics, keeping in mind that the black backgrounds could end up touching the black fabrics in the next block.

I made that using “Meow” fabric. I used various colors of Grunge fabric by Moda for my backgrounds. It is one of my favorite quilt!

I love that! Did you check the yardage in her fabrics? I forget what the least you can buy is, but they might look nice. Or too busy?
