Brilliant! Great use of freezer paper, and wise to chose time to copy the pattern instead of picking paper afterwards.
Your quilt is beautiful, colours are strikingly very effective. Can't wait to see how you will quilt it.

What a beautiful quilt! Denise, you are so creative.
Just last night, I watched Clare Rowley's video that demonstrates this method. While she doesn't suggest freezer paper, using spray adhesive instead, it's the same sewing method. You can search "Clare Rowley paper piecing."
