Make a "Pumpkin Spice" Quilt with Jenny Doan
God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Looks interesting, thank you for the link, once again.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

Adorable. I will keep to watch at bedtime, encouraging pumpkin dreams.
Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.
Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Re: Make a "Pumpkin Spice" Quilt with Jenny Doan
I am so discouraged by the, in my personal opinion ridiculous, proliferation of "pumpkin spice" everything, but I am loving this quilt pattern!
The fabric choice is perfect, and Jenny makes it sew easy to accomplish.
Being the daughter of an agriculturalist, I might have to change up the leaf shape to resemble accurate squash foliage, though, or else I would never hear the end of it from my dad.
That get me thinking, though. By simply changing the color of the produce and the leaf/stem shape, the design could easily be made to resemble apples and this could be a nice present for a favorite teacher! And, hey! Here's a perfect jellyroll for that! https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...star-25-strips

This one is adorable. I doubt that I'd make it as is.
What a great idea to make apples for a teacher!

One of my favorites of Jenny's recent tutorials! I love the JR choice too, but have one in much more muted colors that I think would work well too.
And the list grows longer.....
