Default Criss Cross pattern from the Midnight Quilt Show

This is the Criss Cross pattern that Angela Walters showed on the Midnight Quilt Show. I used a jelly roll called Girls Trip.

Instead of marking the 13" measurement along the bottom of the strip set I preferred to use two rulers to cut parallel to the first 45 degree cut. 13" works out to 9.25 inches as a parallel cut. My strip set was long enough to make 3 9.5" cuts. I had to use two rulers because I didn't have a 9.5" wide x 24" ruler. It sets up like this

This pattern goes very quickly and has almost no fabric waste. Looks like you worked really hard, but you didn't.

Your quilt is beautiful Denise. I love the colours.

When do you sleep? You are cranking out quilts like crazy and beautiful.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.
