How to quilt a runner that has a patterned design
I am fairly new to quilting and would appreciate suggestions on how to quilt this table runner. I was thinking toof doing multiple straight lines on the border but have no idea what to do in the central area. Thanks for your ideas.

You could eco the motif in the fabric or make swirls edge to edge on the motif fabric
or you could do wavy lines either from short edge to short edge or from long edge to long edge.

I think the center portion would look nice with a meander or simple swirl. You don't want to take away from the design. Do whatever feels comfortable, or you could be daring and try a new design.
Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.
Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Great ideas ladies, I was thinking I'd do wavy lines between the designs long ways.
