Default I want a pattern for a Christmas ornament ball

I saw these lovely quilted balls for Christmas ornaments and have googled and can't find a pattern. anyone know of one. I'd like to make a bunch to give away to the Shriners at their Christmas party so I need it to be pretty easy

    I found this tutorial:

I started a Christmas tree with this method once. Can't say it was quick or easy. Pushing all those pins in took it's toll on my finger tips.

This is the first and only time I used a thimble. Helped a bunch!

I've made lots of them. They're very pretty and easy to do. Heads up though......don't forget to use a thimble!!! Save your finger tips :-)

I saw all those patterns and tutorials on the folded and pinned ones. I wanted to make a sewn one. I was thinking of making a piece of fabric as a quilt block and then using darts and perhaps a drawstring around the top forming a ball and then stuffing it with batting. Guess I'll just go up to the sewing room and try to create. I used to be brave enough to try new things. Maybe I still can. lol

These are so cute! You could leave the stocking open at the top and put a gift card inside.

How about a tutorial for a patchwork ball> Made with Christmas fabrics/colors I think it could work. You might have to adjust for size
