Thumbs up News from Monique in PEI

    Good news,

Monique says hi to everyone. I was able to send Monique a message thru FB and we can text each other. They moved to a cabin the night Dorian hit. It was a scary night but they survived. They still don't have power but they are good. Power is still out on many part of the island.

They are only 2 couples at the campground. She has no WiFi but can use at visitor centre. She didn't know if the Quilt Show on Tuesday was canceled. We had planned to maybe meet up that day.

I'm certain she will have great stories of her aventure.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

That is great news about both of you. I looked up your hotel, wow" it is beautiful", I have never been to Canada, it sure looks wonder! I wouldn't have patience for anyone not getting around either, I feel like when I am on a trip I want to go do and see everything, I can rest and take leisure time getting ready when I am home. I truly enjoyed the hotel pictures.

We are in a non-affected area of New Brunswick. Have been enjoying sunshine and great hospitality. It seems this small town has seen a boost of tourist who were running from the storm.

Hurricanes are really only "fun" for some children. For us adults it can be a scary adventure. I'm sure Monique will have some memorable and suspenseful stories to tell. Wonderful to hear she is OK. Send her our best wishes, please.
