    Default Layout question

    Hi

I have made some more blocks and now I have a hard time choosing which layout to go with.

Either 2 quilts with only 2 color fabrics: dark brown and light and a second quilt with red brown and light.

    or

one quilt with alternate rows of dark brown/ light/ red brown.

    Here are pictures

    What would you choose ?

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I like them both, but prefer the second one.

I also prefer the 2nd one. It gives more interest. They are bought nice though, so I see why you are having a tough time choosing.

TRUTH is seldom appreciated, unless you happen to agree with it. When you don't agree, you just call it rude.

I like the second option. Just wondering if these are the only options for consideration ? What happens if you mix the two colors on the diagonal? Another option would be to alternate a circle block with a pin wheel block. It could be the same color or alternating the two colors.

Have fun deciding! I admire your curved piecing!

Love the colors you are using. Both are super, I think blending them would be the best. Layout? I can't decide. Can't wait to see the finished product.

    Decision made.

I will go with Jennys tutorial layout.

Finally figured out how to make it work with only 2 color and a background color.
