    Default Beating Dia- be-teas

Started before 8 this morning. Mike was at work and my helper was a total whiny dog today. She bayed when she realized he'd left this morning for a good 5 minutes until I could get her breakfast fixed. Holy cow, what's she going to do when 'school routines' start? lol, She won't be at my house!

I'm going to name this one " Beating Dia- be- Teas"... since it's the Tea Mug pattern.

Wow, that was a fast assembly! I don't know how you crank these quilts out so quickly, Katrina. I love the bright colors.

A blood sugar that high is a scary thing! I'm assuming at his young age, he must have Type 1 Diabetes & may require insulin. It will be a whole new way of life for him & his family, adjusting to medication, a new way of eating, etc. I hope they get good diabetes education & help from a dietitian. Suggest to them to join the American Diabetes Assoc., get the magazines, etc., & get involved with a support group. There is a lot of good info. on the web. It's tough for kids (adults, too) to not be able to eat all the things their friends are eating. Soda pop & so many of the snacks -- candy, chips, etc. -- are so detrimental to good glucose control. I wish them well.

Love your quilt! My lab, Sandy lays at the door of my sewing room and watches me. She was banned from the room when she was a puppy because I chased her around the house with fabric in her mouth. Grrrr- I must have scared her so much that now she won't come in the room at all.

Beautiful quilt. Wow, I don't know how you cranked this out so fast. You are one determined woman. Good for getting 'er done.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Today wasn't as productive. Pepper wanted to help by laying down on, or nuzzling under the fabric. It took all day, but it's sandwiched. Pepper went home after dinner tonight! Maybe tomorrow morning I can get a lot of the quilting done.

I was glad to hear Ben went home today!
