Default What’s the deal, with all the Kathy Engle fabric?

It seems MSQC is on a Kathy Engle or Island Batik binge, and honestly it’s basically the same batik fabric, just different colors schemes.

Any chance we can get some other brands? That would be cool.

    Just frustrated.
There are no perfect quilts, because I am a imperfect quilter.

I agree, never cared for them.
TRUTH is seldom appreciated, unless you happen to agree with it. When you don't agree, you just call it rude.

I am a batik LOVER, but I agree with you all. It seems we are being presented with batik after batik after matching batik. I've also noticed that the printed fabric has a certain "sameness" in all the M* offerings (with exceptions like today's DD Christmas fabric). I'm longing to see different fabrics!

I love batiks... especially those in bright rainbow colors.

I don't like muddy looking batiks.

Tonga Batiks has some beautiful batiks, Daniella for Cozy Designs has some beautiful collections of batiks, then she has some that aren't for me. Her Tonga Soleil Collection is stunning- blues, yellows, greens .. wow! What stunning quilts they've made with it!

It would be nice if MSQC offered Art Gallery Fabrics.

I love batiks but I have enough LQS that carry at good prices. My stash is maxed out for batiks.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.
