Default Best batting for machine quilting

I usually use warm and natural or warm and white batting for my quilts which I have been doing on my original older model handiquilter. However, Joann’s is no longer carrying it and I always stocked up when it was 50 or 60% off.

I have been searching the web and am getting overwhelmed by the numerous different answers. Does anyone know what Jenny and her crew recommend? My quilts are given to family members to use as they wish and wash as needed.

Batting has been discussed many times here on the Forum. You may get a dif. answer from each person. I've been using Hobbs 80/20 for many years -- for everything. I get it by the roll. A friend in the LA business orders once a year & orders for many people. It gets freighted to her house & we pick it up from her. Shipping charges are divided up among all those who purchase. I know some people here wait for a sale & order from Connecting Threads or other web sites that have sales.

I personally don't care for warm & natural. It seems too heavy to me.
