    PLEASE PRAY...

Last Friday Jeff's brother's house in Vienna, Missouri caught fire and exploded. It is a total loss but the good thing is that no one was there when the fire broke out. The family had moved to Jefferson City but they were often at the old house during the week fixing it up to sell. There is nothing left to salvage. Six firefighters were burned in the explosion but they are all expected to recover. It was such a bad explosion it was on the national news. Yesterday my SIL Bev had a stroke and is hospitalized. My BIL Jack has been battling brain cancer and other issues for a long time. They are guardians for a number of their grandchildren and they take in kids that need a place to be safe. There are family members who are caring for the children. Please Pray for our family. Jeff and I are driving up to the hospital to see Bev later today and to see what we can do to help them.

    Thank You for your prayers....

You can read about the explosion by doing a Google search for....house in vienna missouri explodes.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Thankfully no one was killed but my goodness what a tragedy for your family. I watched the news clip. Looks like they have a fund set up for injured firefighters but nothing for the family? Please let us know if one is set up for them. I would be happy to make a donation.
