A very well done and touching video. I didn't know the family went through such rough times in the beginning. I love their attitude about making the best of what you have and trying something even if its totally new to you.

Thanks for sharing. Just wish the music hadn't been so loud, because it sort of drowned out the voices. Theirs is a great story! What a long ways they've come in just 10 yrs.

Like others I knew the story, but this video is sure to bring tears of joy to your eyes. I have had the opportunity of hearing Jenny tell a couple stories of when their kids were young and how they handled things and the fun they put into all things. Truly heartwarming and inspiring. I surely do hope I can get myself to Hamilton some day soon.

I don't know why but this made me cry. What good people the Doans are ! I know that MSQ has brought a lot of joy to my life thru quilting. It was the place I learned to quilt.

This was a real tear jerker for me—while I knew the family story just hearing them tell about it was so touching. I have admired Jenny for quite some time and am so excited to meet her at an upcoming show in Salt Lake City next month. Can’t wait to hear her speak and take a class with her. She is an amazing role model!
