Rhonda, you will make it!!! You have the love and support of us all here. A positive outlook (and sense of humor) will carry you far. Will keep you in my prayers.

Rhonda, I'm so sorry you're having to go through all of this. Cancer sucks, to put it into a tiny nutshell. My prayers are with you and I hope you'll be in remission when you go back to your doctor. I'm thankful your doctor realized he didn't know what to do and sent you to a specialist. More than once, I've seen doctors with the attitude they know everything and when they reach the point where they admit they don't, it's too late. That in itself is a gracious gift to you!

Prayers for healing, peace and painless days for you ahead.
    Katrina

Rhonda, OMG, I am sooo sorry you're having to go thru this! I am not familiar with type of cancer. You are going to get thru this & I for one am going to be praying like crazy for you. I'll pray for your doctors to keep on top of this treatment & make sure you don't have anymore of the side effects you've experienced. You've been thru so much & I pray that the worst is over. Come here whenever you need to vent & as often as you need.

    You are not alone.

    Hugs,
    Gina

Thank you everybody. I am blessed to have so many friends on here. I am ok. I think the worse is over now that I got my labs back up. I had labs drawn today and will see how much better I am in a couple days. I also got a call from my GP today and my kidney function is coming up as well. This made me very happy. I see her tomorrow and am going to see if I can have steroids to help me out with the joint pain.
I have never been a sickly person. This is hard to swallow some days but I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason what ever the reason is but I do know it is so depressing to sit and watch people coming in to get ;as I call it: their poison to try and save their life. The patients look bad but the caregivers look just as bad do to the care cancer Pt. need.
I feel I got real lucky. I don"t even look like I have cancer. Even my Dr's told me I looked good for a cancer Pt. But it has changed me as a person for sure. You hear of someone having cancer just about everyday of your life now a days but until you live it you just don't know.
My husband was in complete denial at first. It wasn't until we went to specialist and I ask him straight up "What If I do nothing? No treatment?" He told me what I knew he would "You will die". "You will continue to keep getting sick and the hairy cells will take over your blood and crowd out the good cells and you will die". It wasn't until my husband heard this that he accepted the diagnosis. We have been married for 33 years and he has been so good to help me through this all. He has been a true trooper helping me with showers when I was in hospital and couldn't stand up,drying my hair , helping me back and forth to the bathroom pulling my Iv pole, ; I am the kind of person that won't ask for help but did not have a choice in this lol. He has stepped up and done a great job. Oh I forgot to mention He never knew I was sick until I told him I had labs drawn and they come back bad. He sleeps very soundly and he never heard me up all those nights when I was getting sick. He witnessed it 1 time. FREAKED HIM OUT. that was the last trip to the hospital with blood poisoning. I hope all that mess is behind me and I am pretty sure it is.
Thanks again yall. I will let you know how things are going and will definitely let you know my bone marrow biopsy results in oct.
Keep the prayers coming. I got this but every little bit helps!
