Default Cardinal panel quilt-My original design

I told myself I could not buy any more panels if I didn't start doing something with them. This is a 24x42 panel and 1.5 yards of matching border print from a line called Royal Red by Wilmington Prints. I wanted to make it large enough to be a snuggle quilt. I could not miter the corners on the border print because it is not a mirror symmetry print. After much experimentation this is what I came up with. It finishes at 67 inches square.

Great design choice. I really like it a lot.

Beautiful. This reminds me that I have that panel and some coordinating fabrics.
