Default Using a Roadmap for Easy Quilting

    I really like Helen Godden

    Enjoy !

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Isn’t she amazing! I love this technique. Will give it a try on one of the next ones I quilt.

Great. another iron off pencil too. I'd just read another horror story on a Frixion pen. I've never used one of those but may try to find her Panda pencil soon.

You can get pencils just like that without paying for the quilter's markup or postage from Australia. They're no-cut tailor's pencils. You can find them at Alibaba, Amazon, and even Joann.

I'd test it on scrap fabric to see if the marks really come out and stay out.

I love it. I watched it last night and it's perfect for all over quilting. I would love to meet Helen and learn from her experience. I do have many of her tutorials bookmarked.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.
