Overwhelmed newbie
I'm Jo and I'm friends with a lot of quiltaholics. Since it was something I'd always wanted to try I was an easy mark. Needless to say I'm a beginning quilter and haven't in my opinion completed a quilt yet (potholders and table runners don't count) but have 4 that are in the final stages which is why I'm here. My friends are wonderful with advice and help but I think they may need a break from my questions... I've seen some wonderful resources from Missouri Star so figured this would be a great place to join. I look forward to 'meeting' you all.

Hi Jo,
Welcome from Alabama. I have learned so much from this forum. I was a newbie myself when I first started reading the forums. I have learned so much from the people here. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I have yet to find anything question about quilting they couldn't answer.

Another welcome from Canada. When it's too cold, too hot, too much rain, I'm indoors sewing, Well I guess that's almost all year.
Enjoy your quilting journey and don't be shy in asking questions, tips or tricks.
Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.
Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Welcome from Ohio. I must say that I count potholders and table runners as quilts (also wall hangings). Not all quilts have to be bed sized. LOL Enjoy the process.
