    A couple of Tops...

It seems I'm getting the tops done, but the quilting part is still not happening...I can't seem to get to a store for backing.

The tops are wonderful...I love all of your choices...I usually get my backing from M*QC, Fat Quarter Shop or Connecting Threads....and for donation quilts I have used sheets that I purchase from a thrift store...

I tend to spend my summer doing tops, then hand quilt in the winter when it cooler. Love the log cabin.

Some really pretty tops you have made. I have a few tops that need to be finished, too. Log cabin is my very favorite quilt pattern. Yours is lovely.

Really pretty tops! I get my backings from Backside Fabrics, Christine will send 10 samples w/n the US to let you check out the colors. It's really helpful!

That attic window is on my list to do. I even bought the supplies a couple years ago but have been too intimidated to cut that panel! Yours is perfect! I made the curved log cabin and it's become my favorite pattern (I think).
Your quilts are beautiful, thank you for sharing. I have also used sheets and they can give a sweet soft worn feel to a quilt.

Thank you for sharing your tops they are so beautiful. Just think of all the fun you will have when you do get the backings.

Thank you all for the kind words. I look at Show and Tell daily and am so jealous of all the beautiful quilts I see. Some are so elaborate and absolutely gorgeous...I'm inspired but a little hesitant to do something complicated.

I'm not that good at this, and I lose patience easily and I can see me just stopping in the middle and putting one away. I made myself a promise that I'd never leave a quilt top unquilted...and yet here I am with a dozen unquilted quilt tops sitting on a bed.

I hope I get motivated soon. The Log Cabin is a birthday gift for my sister...her birthday was July 7. LOL. Oh well, it'll be a late surprise.
