ID:	159819I just got tagged in some Facebook photos from the current trip to Zambia. Our church folks are headed home tomorrow and they have uploaded lots of photos of the good things happening at the medical clinic and in one of the schools. You can see a couple of our ladies and a translator distributing the purple bags with sanitary pads and other supplies. We have officially named this the purple bag ministry

This is so lovely. I'm still enchanted by this ministry.

I have terrific news. I found three flannel 1950's-style skirts that I made for a history project for my daughter when she was in high school (she's now 33). I cut a piece of the seam allowance and did a burn test to see if the fabric is 100% cotton or a poly/cotton blend. Bingo! It burned easily and turned to ash with no curling or melting, so I'm certain this is 100% cotton. Can't wait to send these to you. You'll get a whole lot of 3"x9" segments!
Toni ... If I keep sewing long enough, will they make their own dinner?

Wow! That is awesome! We will certainly use it!
I love your word “enchanted “! That’s how I feel every time we finish a batch of hygiene kits and we start packing them in suits Then we get to see the faves of the ladies receiving them. As I sew them I can’t help but think how fortunate I am and how much I conveniences for granted! Thank you ☺️
