Default Cute Baby Blanket from leftovers of a Long Arm Class

The lady from the local quilt shop teaches Long Arm Classes. While giving these classes she uses muslin pieces with batting in the middle to simulate what would be a quilt so that people can practice stitches. Well, she gave me a huge bag of leftovers from the long arm classes. Now I had to figure out what I could do with them. So, the first set I cut into 10 inch blocks and put a sashing in between for a cute baby blanket 40 x 40 that will be donated.
The last pic shows what the students were attempting to do. To me, it didn't matter. I thought this came out quite good and I have enough to do a few more of these baby quilts.

That's so nice! I love muslin it is so nice to work with and really shows off your stitches.

Really great use of these "samples". Great job!

Great use of what would have otherwise been discarded! I hate waste and am so glad to see these put to good use. :-)

Clever idea and so useful. Muslin will make a nice soft quilt.
