Nothing special planned here -- just DH & me. We will eat our usual fare.

We have a small celebration as DH was born in U.S. I made baked beans on Canada Day, so we will probably have that with corn and either steaks or ribs. I found a ready made coleslaw that we both love, so I will pick up more. No fireworks unless someone in the neighbourhood has extras from Canada day. We heard some last night. I cut up watermelon and pineapple to snack on during the day as it is going to be hot.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

DARN!!! I went to store and bought the corn, feta, basil, cherry tomatoes, and FORGOT the black olives. Wonder how it will be without them?

We are having brats, baked beans, potato salad and watermelon. I've been sewing all day...still working on things for DGDs wedding.

    Wishing everyone a great 4th!

We're going to grill mild Italian sausage, I made potato salad, baked beans and was going to make the corn salad Cathy posted about, but forgot the olives. I bought a personal watermelon for dessert. Just Fred and I, so no big deal. We might be able to see the fireworks from the three surrounding areas tonight.
