    Flower Power Quilt

I just finished this flower power quilt (that's what I call it). I would have had it done last week but I had to take one of my machines in to be repaired. I couldn't get it to do the decorative stitch I wanted. However, my other machine (I have 3) had the same stitch but the throat of that machine is small. I went for it anyway. The close-up shows (if you look real hard) the vine type stitch I used to tack those big pieces down.

This came from a book I bought called "Weekend Quilting Wonders" I am sure I will make a few more from that book. It has some really cute patterns.

Beautiful quilt and quilting. What a great way to use big prints too, without chopping them up.

That is a sweet quilt, the colors are so soothing and comforting.
