I have a knee lift but have never used it. I can see the advantages when doing machine applique, will have to try it!

I have knee lifts in my Berninas.
I have used the knee lift from the
first day I bought the machines.
A great feature for quilters, you are
able to keep both hands on your
fabric while lifting your foot with
      the kneee lift.
      Couldn’t do without it.

I have to use mine because my machine (Bernina 770) does not have a presser foot lifter. Was a little strange at the beginning, two years ago, but it's easy to use.

I'm waiting for the "voice command" presser foot lift feature- "up," "down," "hover..." etc.
You gots to risk it to gets the biscuit-

It took me a while to get used to it, but I like more than I expected I would at first. I just wish it wasn't so close to the center of the machine bed. I feel squished.

Never thought I would like using it but now I can't sew without it.

Same for me. I find when I's using my serger or even my small travel machine I tend to push my knee out to the side before realizing it and then have to "find" the manual lift lever. LOL
